Nikki Bella On “Rehab” Comments: “People Think We Drink A Lot More Than We Do”

Nikki Bella is no stranger to public scrutiny, but the WWE Hall of Famer and current Raw superstar has had enough of the rumors regarding her appearance and lifestyle.

On the latest episode of SiriusXM’s The Nikki and Brie Show, the former Women’s World Champion addressed fan questions directly, specifically those inquiring about cosmetic procedures and her drinking habits. Bella, who recently returned to full-time competition in WWE, attributed her look to a combination of mental well-being and physical discipline rather than surgery.

“Everyone keeps asking me, like they want to ask me the outer things, like surgeries, this, that, ‘What is it?’ You guys, all I can tell you, it’s happiness, it’s growth, it’s self-love,” Nikki explained. “It truly is the shine of the sun and Brie… I’m not hiding stuff in the closet. It’s hard work.”

She emphasized that her physique is the result of rigorous training, which has been evident in her recent in-ring performances.

“Don’t get me wrong. I work hard with my trainer and I eat well overall. I do have my little times that I want to go get a Coke on ice and a little palette ice and I want to have some cookies, but I don’t do that a lot.”

The conversation then shifted to the perception of her alcohol consumption. Nikki revealed that she had received messages from fans asking how she stays fit despite “drinking a lot,” a misconception she was eager to correct.

“I had to tell her—people think we drink a lot more than we do. We actually do not drink a lot. We’re all about moderation,” Nikki shared.

Brie Bella chimed in to note that the sisters typically only drink about two days a week, but their social media presence often paints a different picture, leading to harsh comments from followers.

“People are like, ‘You need to go to rehab,’” Brie noted.

Nikki clarified that their Instagram feeds are curated highlights, not a 24/7 reality.

“I wanted to explain that to her—because I go, ‘I don’t want you to think that because of what IG life looks like, that we’re just doing this party life every day. That is not what we do. Brie and I are very good,’” Nikki said. She added that they have a strict protocol for when they do indulge. “We are very pro on if we feel like we are intoxicating our bodies, we know how to detox it.”
