Dominik Mysterio is currently on the shelf, but Liv Morgan insists that the “Crown Jewel” of The Judgment Day is simply taking some well-deserved time off.
Mysterio has been out of action since December 20, when he suffered a shoulder injury during the main event of AAA’s Guerra de Titanes. Following the incident, WWE commentator Joe Tessitore noted on television that Dominik would be out “indefinitely.” However, during a recent appearance on the RAW Recap podcast, Liv Morgan offered a more optimistic update, framing the absence as a precautionary measure.
“Daddy Dom, he’s home resting. He’s just recovering. We’re just playing it safe,” Morgan said. “He is, after all, our double champion. He is, as of right now, the crown jewel of The Judgment Day, so we protect and cater to Daddy Dom, and we’re just playing it safe with him. He’ll be back soon, but he’s doing some well-deserved R&R.”
Morgan defended Mysterio’s absence, emphasizing the heavy workload he carried throughout the previous year.
“He was quite literally running Monday Night RAW for, like, the last full year. You don’t think Daddy Dom deserves a little bit of a break? A little bit of rest? A little bit of an off day? A little bit of a reprieve? My goodness.”
While Morgan claims he will be “back soon,” WWE has not released an official medical timeline for his return. In the meantime, The Judgment Day continues to navigate Raw without their North American Champion.
