Despite a frightening scene on Monday Night Raw, there is positive news regarding the health of WWE Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer.
According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, the injury Vaquer is currently selling on television is indeed legitimate, but it is not considered serious. While WWE has played up the severity of the issue for storyline purposes—depicting her in a walking boot and vulnerable to attacks—the actual physical setback is described as “minor.”
The injury may slightly alter immediate creative plans. Meltzer noted that a singles match between Vaquer and her rival Raquel Rodriguez was tentatively planned for television within the next two weeks. While that specific date might be in flux depending on her recovery speed, the expectation is that she will not be sidelined for an extended period.
