Bayley Reveals She Is “Open” To Motherhood—But There’s A Catch

For years, Bayley has been one of the most private superstars in WWE, rarely pulling back the curtain on her personal life. However, during a candid appearance on the January 15, 2026 episode of Stephanie McMahon’s What’s Your Story? podcast, the former Women’s Champion opened up about life after heartbreak. Reflecting on her public split from former fiancé and AEW wrestler Aaron Solow, Bayley revealed how her priorities regarding family and commitment have shifted in the years since.

Maturity and Standards

Bayley and Solow ended their engagement in 2021, citing differing visions for the future. While she didn’t mention him by name during the interview, her comments offered a clear window into her current mindset. She admitted that while she once might have been unsure, she is now in a place where starting a family is a possibility—but only under the right conditions.

“I do want to have kids. Now I’m at an age where I’m open to it—if it happens, it happens, with the right person. If I were to meet someone today and they wanted to have kids, it’s not like I’d be like, ‘Let’s do it!’ I want to be with someone where, if I’m going to commit to them, I need to make sure they’re fit for that.”

Finding Peace in Independence

The “Role Model” emphasized that this openness to motherhood does not equate to a rush to settle down. Through her experiences, she has gained clarity on what she values in a partner and is willing to wait for a relationship that meets those standards, rather than forcing a timeline.

“As I’ve gotten older, I’ve realized what I want out of a relationship. So if it happens, it happens—but I’ll be okay if it doesn’t.”

Road To The Rumble

While Bayley is finding peace in her personal life, her professional life remains as chaotic as ever. She is currently scheduled to be a key participant in the upcoming Royal Rumble on January 31, where she hopes to secure a championship opportunity at WrestleMania 42. With the “Road to WrestleMania” officially kicking off in just two weeks, Bayley’s focus will shift from the podcast studio back to the squared circle, where she remains one of the odds-on favorites to outlast 29 other women and make history once again.
