The love triangle between Matt Hardy, Lita, and Edge remains one of the most infamous real-life sagas in wrestling history. In 2005, a secret affair between Lita and Edge while Hardy was out with an injury led to a public explosion that WWE eventually turned into a heated on-screen rivalry. Decades later, fans still wonder about the personal dynamic between the legends involved.
In a recent interview with Reallyfe Street Starz Clips, Matt and Jeff Hardy put those questions to rest. When asked about their current standing with the AEW star, both brothers confirmed that the hatchet was buried long ago.
“I’ve never had beef with Edge,” Jeff said. Matt echoed the sentiment, emphasizing the need to move forward. “No. Nobody has any beef with Edge, man. We’re all homies. Everybody’s good. Life’s short, man. You’ve got to move on. You know what I mean? Get over it.”
The comments confirm that while the drama made for compelling television twenty years ago, the men involved have long since matured and reconciled.
