Seth Rollins is one of the most successful Money in the Bank cash-ins in history, but that doesn’t mean he enjoys the match concept itself. In the third episode of WWE: Unreal Season 2, “The Architect” was brutally honest about his disdain for the chaotic ladder match.
“Extreme Danger”
Rollins explained that the multi-man format combined with weapons creates a stressful environment where safety is difficult to guarantee.
“I hate a Money in the Bank match. I hate them. As a participant, I hate them. ‘Cause it’s not just you and one other person and a referee. You’ve got all these ladders, so you add in the element of extreme danger. Everybody’s gotta be on point. The timing, everything from a safety standpoint, a storytelling standpoint.”
Praise for Bron Breakker
Elsewhere in the episode, Rollins shifted gears to praise his stablemate, Bron Breakker. He described the young powerhouse as a “blue chip prospect” essential to the company’s future.
“Bron Breakker is a special talent… Elite athletic ability. His energy level, his desire to learn… We need people who are going to be able to lead this company in the future.”
