The “Original Tribal Chief” is officially back. On Friday’s SmackDown, a video package highlighting Roman Reigns’ dominance in previous Royal Rumble matches aired, followed by the confirmation that he will enter this year’s 30-man contest in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
First Appearance Since Survivor Series
This marks Reigns’ first appearance since his team lost to The Vision’s team at Survivor Series: WarGames. While he seemingly made peace with teammate CM Punk after the loss, tensions with Cody Rhodes remain high, hinting at a potential future clash. However, the road to WrestleMania has reportedly shifted following Drew McIntyre’s recent WWE Championship victory.
Reigns wasn’t the only name confirmed. Jordynne Grace, Chelsea Green, Alexa Bliss, Charlotte Flair, Lash Legend, Nia Jax, Giulia, and Solo Sikoa also declared for their respective matches.
