Could we see the greatest quarterback of all time step into a WWE ring? Paul Heyman certainly hopes so. Amidst an online exchange between Logan Paul and Tom Brady, “The Wiseman” took to Twitter to pitch a blockbuster celebrity match for WrestleMania 42. “I have a VISION for @LoganPaul vs @TomBrady at @WWE WrestleMania! BOOK IT! @TKOGrp @espn @WWEonNetflixx,” Heyman wrote, attempting to speak the bout into existence.
The tension began on the latest episode of Impaulsive, where Logan Paul told Brady he was being flown to Saudi Arabia to compete against him in a Fanatics flag football game. Brady’s response was condescending, telling Paul, “I’m actually a little worried for you… You’re a good athlete, but these guys are on another level.”
When Paul argued that he is the level, citing his ability to do a moonsault, Brady fired back. “It’s cute. I love WWE, it’s very cute, but this is real football and real competition.” The seven-time Super Bowl champion then shut down Paul’s high school football accolades, stating, “I won seven Super Bowls. No one gives a s***. You know what matters? This game, March 21 in Saudi. I’m glad you’re going to be there. I’m glad you’re going to finally participate in a competition that matters.”
With speculation also swirling about a potential Logan Paul match against Bad Bunny, it seems the “Maverick” has no shortage of high-profile celebrity options for Las Vegas.
