Jade Cargill recently surpassed 100 days as the WWE Women’s Champion, but her reign hasn’t been without its detractors, with some fans criticizing her limited number of title defenses. During a February 26 interview with CHGO Sports, Cargill addressed her critics head-on, making it clear she is completely unfazed by the noise.
“I’ve always proven people wrong. I don’t care. Guess what? They didn’t think I’d get this far, and look at me — I’m a champ,” Cargill stated. She emphasized that her priority is pleasing WWE management, not online critics. “Regardless of what y’all say, I’m going to do what I want to do… I care about the people who sign my checks.” Instead of pushing back, Cargill leaned into the negativity, arguing that trending online only builds her star power and draws new eyes to the product. “Even Michael Jordan had haters,” she added. “That’s what comes with the crown. And trust me, I’m proud enough to carry it. Keep it up. Keep it coming. Keep talking about me. Keep me trending.”
