The March 7 episode of AEW Collision featured a very familiar face from the past in the arena. WWE and WCW veteran Adam Bomb, also known to fans as WRATH, was officially in attendance for the broadcast. The legendary performer was seen enjoying the action from a unique vantage point.
Known for his dominant time in WCW as a former two-time WCW World Tag Team Champion, Bryan Clark was present throughout the evening. He remains a respected figure among current locker room members and management alike. His presence added a touch of nostalgia to the Saturday night television program.
RJ City of AEW shared a photo on social media with Clark following the event. He jokingly referenced the wrestler’s classic persona in the caption for the post. The image quickly went viral among wrestling historians and long-time viewers who remembered his work from the nineties.
“Of all the nuclear fission-themed wrestlers, he was my favorite,” RJ City wrote. Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful also confirmed the veteran’s presence at the event through a separate social media update. It appears he was visiting friends and colleagues during the Tucson taping.
His presence at the event was strictly limited to that of an audience member. Clark was not directly involved in any of the televised storylines or creative programming angles for the evening. He seemed content to watch the next generation of stars compete in the squared circle.
Clark, who is now 61 years old, officially retired from full-time professional wrestling in 2003. He is vividly remembered by fans for his powerful runs in both WCW and the Stamford-based promotion. He was a cornerstone of the tag team division during the height of the Monday Night Wars.
Three years after his retirement, in 2006, he underwent a major surgery on his lower back. This procedure was necessary to address the significant injuries he sustained during his physical in-ring career. He has since maintained a lower profile while occasionally appearing at fan conventions and wrestling events.
While the legend watched from the crowd, the current roster was busy preparing for the road to Revolution. The upcoming pay-per-view will take place on March 15 at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. The event will feature a massive Texas Death Match between MJF and Hangman Adam Page, as well as several high-stakes championship defenses. The presence of veterans like Clark serves as a reminder of the rich history that continues to influence the modern product.
