Why Are The Bella Twins Still Off WWE TV?

The “Bella Army” is officially looking for answers as to why their favorite duo hasn’t been a permanent fixture of the spring season. Despite a high-profile reunion at the 2026 Women’s Royal Rumble, Nikki and Brie Bella have remained off television for over a month. During a recent interview with Lala Kent, Brie Bella clarified that their absence isn’t due to a lack of interest, but rather a waiting game with management.

Brie revealed that she expected to transition into a regular role on Monday Night Raw immediately following her surprise entry at the number 29 spot in Saudi Arabia. Instead, the Hall of Famer was told that the company would reach out when the creative direction “needs” them. This response reportedly came as a surprise to the sisters, who have now been waiting for five weeks to rejoin the active roster.

“I thought we’d be right back in the mix on Raw,” Brie shared. Both Nikki and Brie are reportedly eager to compete, especially with the Women’s Tag Team Championships currently held by Nia Jax and Lash Legend. The twins have made it clear that they want to prove they can still hang with the current generation of athletes if given the proper storyline opportunities.

The Bella Twins last appeared together on the February 2 episode of Monday Night Raw, where they announced their intentions to pursue the tag team gold. While they have been quietly training—Brie even noted that her husband Bryan Danielson helped her prepare for her return—they remain at the mercy of the current writing staff. Nikki was recently spotted in Phoenix ahead of the March 13 episode of SmackDown, fueling rumors that a return could be imminent.

As the road to WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas reaches its final stretch, the sisters have officially confirmed they will be part of the festivities at Allegiant Stadium. Whether they are competing for championships or involved in a high-profile guest capacity, the Hall of Fame duo is ready to activate “Brie Mode” in the Nevada desert. The WWE fans are eager to see if management “pulls the trigger” on their return during the final stops before the April 18 and 19 spectacle.
