Braun Strowman may not be far from a wrestling comeback. On Tuesday, the former WWE Universal Champion posted a throwback image on X of him slamming Brock Lesnar — a subtle nod to the viral Oba Femi and Lesnar confrontation on Raw this week — and when podcaster Mike Gilbert asked about a ring return in the comments, Strowman gave an encouraging answer.
“Maybe this summer. I’m mid filming season two of Everything on the Menu now and have a few other projects. So will see,” he replied.
Strowman Juggling TV Work and New Production Company Since WWE Release
Strowman has not competed in a wrestling match since his WWE release in May 2025, with his last bout coming on April 18, 2025, when he teamed with LA Knight against Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu. Since his departure, he has kept busy on multiple fronts. Everything on the Menu — a food-themed reality show where he travels the country sampling dishes from local restaurants — officially announced a second season in January, and is co-produced by WWE, allowing Strowman to use his ring name on the series. Last week, it was also announced that Strowman co-launched his own production company, Meat Castle Media. The year did start on a difficult note, as Strowman revealed he required urgent surgery to drain excess fluid from his knee due to a serious infection. He appears to be on the mend now with a summer return in his sights.
