Mercedes Mone is speaking out. On Wednesday, the AEW star responded to a YouTube channel on social media after a video featuring a sexually explicit thumbnail and title was posted about her, calling the content unacceptable and urging her followers to take action.
“I’m honestly disgusted by this. The level of disrespect, exploitation, and straight-up false narrative being pushed here is beyond unacceptable. No one should have to deal with content like this being made about them,” Mone wrote. She followed up by asking fans to act directly against the channel: “I need everyone who sees this to please flag and report this channel immediately. This kind of behavior shouldn’t be tolerated or given a platform.”
The channel in question hosts similar videos about other wrestling personalities, making Mone’s call for reporting part of a broader concern about this type of content in the wrestling community. The incident echoes a similar situation from November 2025, when AJ Lee called out a fan for creating an AI-generated video of her, writing: “This is inappropriate and it is harassment. Please delete.” Both cases highlight an ongoing issue with exploitative and harassing content being created about women in professional wrestling.
