WWE utilized the annual “Austin 3:16 Day” on March 16, 2026, to bolster ticket sales for the upcoming spring season. To celebrate the nearly 30-year anniversary of the iconic promo, the company offered a 31.6% discount on tickets for various house shows, television tapings, and WrestleMania 42. According to The Wrestling Observer, the promotion was successful, moving over 1,000 tickets for live events and an additional 2,000 tickets for the two-night spectacle in Las Vegas.
Approximately 40,000 tickets have now been sold for each night of WrestleMania 42 at Allegiant Stadium. Despite the success of the recent sale, this figure represents an 11% decrease compared to the ticket trajectory for WrestleMania 41, which was held at the same venue in 2025. Management has continued to adjust pricing strategies, including recent slashes to entry-level seating, to ensure a capacity crowd for the first-of-its-kind broadcast partnership with ESPN Unlimited and Netflix.
