Bron Breakker’s return is taking a concrete step forward. According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Breakker is expected to report to the WWE Performance Center in Orlando this week as part of his medical clearance process following the hernia injury that has kept him sidelined since earlier this year.
Breakker suffered the hernia when he flipped off the commentary table on an episode of Raw and has been rehabbing intensely since undergoing surgery. Last week, reports emerged that WWE was growing optimistic about his return, with a potential WrestleMania 42 match against Seth Rollins being discussed. That rivalry began last year when Breakker and Bronson Reed turned on Rollins.
The timing could work in Breakker’s favor. Rollins returned earlier this year and has been active on Raw, recently confronting The Vision and taking down its members. With WrestleMania 42 still weeks away and Breakker’s PC visit indicating medical clearance is close, the window for him to make it back onto the biggest card of the year remains open.
