Tiffany Stratton is in the dark about her WrestleMania 42 status — at least according to what she’s been officially told. Speaking with The Schmo, Stratton addressed the circulating reports that she could be set to challenge for the WWE Women’s United States Championship at WrestleMania 42, offering a cautious response.
“Yeah, I mean, I’ve heard those rumors, too, and I feel like they’re just rumors because I haven’t really been told anything that I’m on WrestleMania, but we’ll have to wait and see. I hope there’s a championship involved,” Stratton said.
The rumors stem from Bodyslam.net’s report earlier this month suggesting Stratton could be headed for a Women’s US title match at the event. On screen, she has been involved in a feud with Giulia — the Women’s United States Champion — and Kiana James on SmackDown, which has kept the speculation alive. The match has not yet been officially announced for WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas. Stratton’s comments suggest she remains hopeful but hasn’t received any concrete direction from WWE yet with the event still a few weeks away.
