Liv Morgan has been open about being a lifelong WWE fan long before she became one of its top stars — and she recently recalled the exact moment when being a fan was about to become something far more than that. Speaking with Brad Gilmore for Reality of Wrestling, Morgan identified Extreme Rules 2014 as the last WWE show she attended as a spectator before joining the company.
“I don’t remember what my first show was, but my last show was Extreme Rules 2014. I sat front row with Joe DeFranco, and I already knew that I was heading over to WWE. Obviously, none of the performers in the ring knew, but I remember sitting front row and just watching everyone and just being like, ‘I’m about to do this. In a couple months time I’m going to be in that ring,'” Morgan said. “That was a very surreal moment for me. Just really acknowledging that my whole life was about to change.”
Morgan also discussed how her passion for acting developed organically during her WWE tenure. “It was a love that developed over time during my tenure here at WWE. Just loving performing, loving acting, loving being a character.” She credited WWE’s willingness to let her explore the space, pointing to her role in the Chucky TV series and her upcoming film Bad Lieutenant: Tokyo — set to open in September — as proof that the crossover has been a success. “As long as my WWE schedule allows it, because after WrestleMania, your girl is going to be busy.”
