Opening Match For WWE NXT

WWE made a last-minute announcement hours before the March 24 episode of NXT, confirming via Twitter that the show will open with a women’s tag team match. Kendal Grey and Women’s Speed Champion Wren Sinclair will kick things off against Fatal Influence’s Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid, putting the women’s division front and center right from the opening bell.

WWE’s tweet made it official: “@kendalgreywwe and Women’s Speed Champion @WrenSinclairWWE take on Fatal Influence’s @FallonHenleyWWE and @lainey_wwe in tag team action to KICK OFF #WWENXT tonight!”

Full Lineup for WWE NXT March 24 From Houston

The opening match sets the tone for a loaded card. Ricky Saints faces Tony D’Angelo in a match with Stand & Deliver implications. A gauntlet match to determine the number one contender for the NXT North American Championship also takes place tonight. The NXT Tag Team title contenders tournament continues with Eli Knight and Elio LeFleur facing The Culling. Thea Hail takes on Kelani Jordan, and Sol Ruca and Zaria meet face-to-face in what is expected to be a heated confrontation. NXT airs live from Houston tonight.
