Chelsea Green has a simple philosophy when it comes to WWE storylines — say yes, commit fully, and sort out the limits later. Speaking to 93.7 The Fan, Green was asked if there’s anything she wouldn’t do on WWE television, and her answer was as refreshingly candid as it was self-aware.
“Okay, I was just asked that question. I said no, but I feel like that’s setting myself up for absolute disaster. There’s got to be something I’ll say no to. But at this point — if the check clears, I’m doing it,” Green said.
Green rattled off some of the more absurd things she’s already done without hesitation. “You’re going to put me in a dumpster? Say less. Pour salsa on my head? Say less.” But when pressed on the single most ridiculous moment of her career, she went all the way back to her TNA days. “I think the most ridiculous was when I was the drunk bride, the jilted bride in TNA in 2016-17. And I was single then, boys — that was real cringe. I don’t think it gets any worse than that.”
Her reasoning for the all-in mentality is rooted in how she views WWE as a performance medium. “If I was an actress in Hollywood and you gave me a role that said do X, Y, and Z, I’m doing it. So why would I treat WWE any different?” According to Green, that willingness to say yes when others don’t has been a key reason she stays consistently in the mix.
