Charlotte Flair has a clear response to Becky Lynch’s claim on Raw that she killed the Divas Era — and it’s two words: that’s mine. Speaking on the Complex Graps podcast, Flair claimed the Diva Killer title for herself while crediting Nikki Bella as the original holder of the moniker.
“The real Diva Killer. I am so proud of that title. This was actually Nikki’s. That is the OG one,” Flair said. The comments came directly in response to Lynch’s Raw promo where she positioned herself as the woman who ended the Divas Era.
Charlotte Won the First WWE Women’s Title at WrestleMania 32
The historical record does give Flair a strong argument. At WrestleMania 32 in 2016, Charlotte captured the newly created WWE Women’s Championship — replacing the Divas Title and officially retiring the Divas branding. The moment marked the formal end of an era that had been building toward change since the Divas Revolution began in 2015 when Charlotte, Becky Lynch, and Sasha Banks were all called up together.
