Karl Anderson has been saying it for years — and he’s not backing down now. Speaking on the Inside The Ring podcast, Anderson doubled down on his long-held belief that Dominik Mysterio has everything it takes to become a WWE World Champion, citing specific qualities that set the young Judgment Day star apart from his peers.
“Dom’s a future World Champion and there’s no way he’s not gonna be,” Anderson said. “He’s too good, he’s too smart, he’s too respectful. He listens, he takes advice and actually does it. He doesn’t just take the advice and have it go one ear out. He actually listens, changes, and does what he’s told and puts to practice what he hears.”
Anderson Says Dominik Mysterio’s Work Ethic and Coachability Set Him Apart in WWE
Anderson traced his conviction back to the time he spent working live events alongside Mysterio during the early days of The Judgment Day. “When we worked with him on the road — we were doing live events with him — it was like immediately, I can’t believe that’s now four years ago — I said, ‘Dude, Dom’s a future World Champion.'” The combination of natural charisma, coachability, and consistent improvement makes Mysterio exactly the kind of performer WWE tends to elevate. Currently feuding with Finn Balor and dealing with the fallout from Danhausen’s curse on him, Mysterio is in the middle of one of the more prominent storylines heading into WrestleMania 42 season.
