Josh Alexander has confirmed the worst. In an emotional video posted to social media on Friday, the Don Callis Family member revealed that he suffered a serious knee injury during the AEW World Trios Championship match on Collision and will undergo surgery this Wednesday. The injury occurred when Alexander, Konosuke Takeshita, and El Clon faced JetSpeed and Mistico, with Alexander having to be helped to the back following the match.
“Last week on AEW Collision, I suffered an injury. I just found out minutes ago how serious this was. I know I’ve been limping and been in pain for a week. But my surgeon told me I’m gonna need surgery this coming Wednesday. My knee injury is pretty severe. I will not be cleared to compete. And there’s no timetable set right now for when I will be back,” Alexander said.
