Charlotte Flair has opened up about her elaborate WWE WrestleMania entrances — including the now-famous helicopter moment at WrestleMania 35 — and shared her vision for what a dream entrance would look like if given the opportunity to design one herself. Speaking with Complex Graps, Flair revealed that many of her most iconic entrance elements were put together at the last minute.
“Triple H was like, ‘You’re going to use my throne for your WrestleMania match against Asuka,’ and that was put together last-minute. I remember the helicopter when Vince told me — it was the same week of Mania. So I’ve just had some really freaking cool options, I guess,” she said.
Charlotte Flair Has Been Asking for Diplo to DJ Her WrestleMania Entrance for Years
When asked who she would want to play her to the ring at WrestleMania, Flair had a specific creative vision. While she acknowledged wanting to stay true to her theme, she expressed interest in an artist reinterpreting the music live. “I would love to come out to like Megan Thee Stallion talking all kinds of crap. But I would want an artist to play my song — like Timmy Trumpet or Diplo DJ. Something like that.” She added that Diplo is already a fan. “I’ve said it for the last couple years, so one day — I think I just have to ask work to make it happen.” With WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas approaching fast, a Diplo collaboration remains an intriguing possibility for one of WWE’s most visually spectacular performers.
