WWE has shown interest in independent wrestler Conan Lycan, whose profile has risen significantly following his appearance on the second season of MrBeast’s Prime Video series Beast Games. According to Fightful Select, sources familiar with the matter confirm WWE’s interest, with discussions of a meeting between Lycan and NXT higher-ups having taken place in recent weeks. No word has emerged on whether a formal offer has been made.
Lycan is an eight-year veteran of the independent scene who trained at The Black and Brave Academy run by Seth Rollins and Marek Brave. Standing 6’3″ and weighing 270 pounds, he is a regular for Chicago Style Wrestling in Chicago, Illinois, where he is the current and three-time CSW Heavyweight Champion. His social media reach has expanded considerably since his Beast Games appearance, giving him a platform that extends well beyond the traditional wrestling audience.
Beyond CSW, Lycan has worked regularly for Limitless Wrestling and made two appearances on AEW television in 2022 — one on AEW Dark and one on AEW Dark: Elevation. He also worked three shows for GCW back in 2021. The combination of his physical profile, established indie track record, Seth Rollins’ training pedigree, and newly expanded mainstream visibility through Beast Games makes him exactly the kind of prospect WWE’s talent acquisition team would pursue aggressively. The reported NXT meetings suggest the interest is more than casual, though the timeline for any potential signing remains unclear.
