Monday Night Raw delivered one of the most significant WrestleMania 42 card-building episodes of the season, with four new matches officially confirmed for the two-night event at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on April 18 and 19.
Seth Rollins vs. Gunther has been confirmed by Adam Pearce following their Raw confrontation, giving The Ring General his WrestleMania 42 opponent after weeks of uncertainty following Rey Mysterio’s rib injury. Penta announced that the WWE Intercontinental Championship will be contested in a ladder match, with Dragon Lee, JD McDonagh, Je’Von Evans, and Rusev all confirmed as participants alongside the champion. Finn Balor announced he will face Dominik Mysterio in a match born from Balor’s expulsion from The Judgment Day. The Women’s Tag Team Championship fatal four-way was also officially confirmed, with The Irresistible Forces defending against CharLexa, Bayley and Lyra Valkyria, and The Bella Twins. John Cena has also been confirmed as the host of WrestleMania 42.
