Bad News For Liv Morgan Fans

A frightening backstage incident on Monday’s WWE Raw has put two major WrestleMania 42 storylines in jeopardy. Bryan Alvarez of the Wrestling Observer is reporting that both Liv Morgan and Roxanne Perez are being evaluated for possible concussions after the two collided heads hard during a Stephanie Vaquer attack.

The incident occurred when Morgan and Perez were backstage discussing Perez’s recent return from surgery — including how former Judgment Day stablemate Finn Balor had brought her into the group. Before the conversation could continue, Vaquer came in from behind and attacked Morgan, sending her crashing into Perez. The two clonked heads hard as they fell to the floor, with Morgan then being grabbed and thrown into a nearby TV set.

Alvarez was direct about the severity of the situation. “Both Liv and Roxanne in concussion protocol after they clonked skulls HARD when Stephanie jumped Liv from behind. Hopefully we didn’t just witness a disaster affecting WrestleMania,” he wrote.

Liv Morgan’s WrestleMania 42 Women’s World Championship Match Against Vaquer Now in Question

The timing could not be worse for either performer. Morgan is scheduled to challenge Vaquer for the Women’s World Championship at WrestleMania 42 on April 18 and 19 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas — a match she earned by winning the 2026 Women’s Royal Rumble. Perez had only just returned the previous week after undergoing surgery to remove a benign growth, helping Morgan attack Vaquer in the segment that directly set up Monday’s backstage confrontation.

A concussion diagnosis for Morgan would put her WrestleMania championship match in serious danger with less than two weeks until the show. WWE has not yet issued an official statement on either performer’s condition, and the next update from medical personnel will be critical in determining whether both women will be cleared in time for Las Vegas.
