Danhausen has received high praise from two of the most respected women in professional wrestling — Paige and Stephanie McMahon — during a conversation on the What’s Your Story podcast following Paige’s return to WWE at WrestleMania 42. The exchange highlighted genuine admiration for the Very Nice, Very Evil One’s unique place on the roster.
“I love that you brought Danhausen here. I’m glad that the fans came around really quickly,” Paige said. McMahon then added, “I think they just didn’t know, at first, or why we were doing it. Because he’s really good, and he’s got this crazy charisma.” Paige agreed emphatically. “And only he can pull that kind of character off, too.” McMahon continued, “That’s what I mean — and then, to see him work, he was pretty good.” Paige went further in her assessment of Danhausen’s in-ring ability, saying, “He’s a great worker too. They’ll see eventually when he starts wrestling some more, but yeah, I love that the fans came around and they love him and stuff because I was like, ‘He’s such a good dude. I love that guy.'”
Danhausen noticed the comments quickly and responded on social media with characteristic warmth and a very on-brand offer. “Danhausen loves Stephanie McMahon and Saraya. Thank you for your very nice, very evil words. Let Danhausen know if you ever need anyone cursed!” Danhausen debuted in WWE at the 2026 Elimination Chamber and has become a regular presence on weekly programming, most recently sharing the ring with John Cena at WrestleMania 42 Night Two in a segment that Cena called one of his favorite WrestleMania moments ever.
