WWE filed a trademark application for “WWE Superstar Scramble” on May 10, covering a wide range of gaming categories including video game software, online games, mobile games and coin-operated arcade machines.
No further details about the project have been announced. The broad scope of the filing has led to speculation the name could be used for a standalone game separate from the WWE 2K series, though it could equally apply to a new mode within an existing title. WWE 2K26 launched on March 13 with CM Punk on the cover.
The Superstar Scramble filing is part of a run of WWE gaming trademarks this year. In February, the company also filed for “WWE Domination,” “WWE Generations,” and “WWE Eras Collide,” each with similar gaming language attached. On May 15, WWE separately filed for “WWE Hard Hitters.” Trademark applications do not confirm a product is in active development.
