WWE has instructed wrestlers signed to WWE ID contracts to use their WWE-assigned names exclusively going forward, dropping their independent circuit names for all upcoming appearances, per Bodyslam.
The following current WWE ID talent and their mandated names:
WWE ID — WWE Independent Development — launched in October 2024 as a scouting and support program for promising independent wrestlers, offering a pathway toward a potential WWE contract. The program designates official WWE ID schools and tags individual wrestlers as WWE ID Prospects, providing access to WWE facilities, training, athletic trainers and mentorship.
