AEW World Champion Darby Allin is getting married on June 27 in Seattle — one day before AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door in San Jose, California — meaning there is no honeymoon on the calendar.
Speaking on the Jim Kerr Rock and Roll Morning Show on Q104.3 New York, Allin said the timing caught him slightly off guard.
“June 27th. It’s coming up. I just found out the wedding’s on the 27th, and the very next day we have another pay-per-view. So no honeymoon — it’ll be in Seattle, where we’re from.”
Allin and his fiancée met on the school bus in high school and reconnected years later when she saw him doing his stunts on social media and reached out. He proposed to her at the top of Mount Everest in May 2025, and said they went bungee jumping on one of their first dates. He also revealed she survived being shot in the head when a gang member’s bullet passed through her then-boyfriend and struck her.
On his future plans: “We’re going to have some kids and we’re going to go off some jumps. It’s going to be nice.”
Forbidden Door takes place June 28 at the SAP Center in San Jose. Allin defends the AEW World Championship against MJF in a title versus hair match at Double or Nothing this Sunday in Flushing, New York.
