Finn Balor has ruled out crossing over into boxing or MMA, saying he would rather stay in his lane in WWE when asked directly about the possibility at a Zuffa Boxing press conference in Dublin.
Balor was asked about potentially boxing or cage fighting to promote Zuffa Boxing 10, which takes place in Dublin in August.
“Well, obviously I have the utmost respect for the gentlemen that are up here beside me. I wouldn’t take it lightly stepping in the ring with some of the boxers, or the cage with the fighters. They’re very disciplined guys, they know exactly what they’re doing. I’d rather stay exactly in my lane in WWE, thank you very much.”
Balor, 44, attended the press conference on behalf of WWE, which like Zuffa is a subsidiary of TKO. He holds a black belt in IBF submission wrestling but has no boxing or MMA record. Zuffa Boxing 10 takes place August 8 at 3Arena in Dublin and streams on Paramount+, headlined by Aaron McKenna vs. Etinosa Oliha for the Zuffa middleweight championship.
