Two number one contender matches on Tuesday’s NXT have set the card for the Great American Bash on June 28 in Orlando.
NARAKU defeated Mason Rook in a Fatal 4-Way after Kam Hendrix appeared at ringside and caused a distraction, leaving Rook unfocused long enough for NARAKU to land an STO for the pin. NARAKU will now challenge Tony D’Angelo for the NXT Championship. After the match NARAKU handed D’Angelo a mysterious letter backstage.
Kendal Grey defeated Kelani Jordan to earn another shot at the NXT Women’s Championship, dropping Jordan with the Shades of Grey for the sudden win. Grey last challenged for the title at Stand and Deliver, where Lola Vice emerged as the new champion over Jacy Jayne — Grey was not pinned in that match and has been in pursuit of the title since.
