Killer Kross has said it bothered him very much that Triple H did not reach out to him after his WWE exit, though he stopped short of criticising the Chief Content Officer and suggested structural reasons within TKO may explain the silence.
Speaking to Ariel Helwani, Kross reflected on the aftermath of his departure.
“It did bother him, but I just try to tell myself that there are things going on that are so strange that might not occur to you. That perhaps he’s no longer in a position to speak to talent anymore once they exit. Because I’m not an isolated situation. It’s not at all to throw shade at him, but I don’t think anyone understands the nature of his position. Everyone just thinks he’s just the boss and nothing is attached to that. I think there’s a whole new hierarchy of things above him that he has to answer to, and perhaps maybe he’s even told not to contact talent afterwards. Maybe. But it did bother me. I will tell you it bothered me very, very much.”
Kross was released by WWE in September 2024. He and Scarlett have since worked the independent circuit.
