TNA Officially Confirms Returning Star For Slammiversary In Boston After 15-Year Absence

Amazing Red has been officially confirmed for TNA Slammiversary 2026 on June 28 in Boston, marking his first TNA appearance since 2011.

Red, a three-time X-Division Champion and one of the division’s founding innovators, was teased for the event by TNA earlier this week before the formal announcement. He had been scheduled to return for a TNA event in April 2020 but that show was cancelled due to the COVID pandemic.

His specific role at Slammiversary has not been announced, but multiple spots remain open in the Ultimate X match where Cedric Alexander is defending the X-Division Championship against Leon Slater and four opponents yet to be named. Red currently runs House of Glory, the independent promotion he founded, where he also competes and operates a wrestling school.

Slammiversary takes place at Agganis Arena in Boston with a 4 PM ET start time. The current confirmed card:

  • TNA World Championship: Mike Santana defends against Nic Nemeth
  • TNA Knockouts World Championship: Lei Ying Lee defends against Xia Brookside
  • TNA Tag Team Championships (ladder match): Brian Myers and Bear Bronson defend against The Hardys and The Righteous
