As the road to WrestleMania 42 heats up, speculation regarding Brock Lesnar’s role at the “Grandest Stage of Them All” is intensifying. According to a new report from BodySlam, a massive showdown between “The Beast Incarnate” and rising star Oba Femi has reportedly been discussed for the two-night event in Las Vegas.
“We Both Have The Understanding That There Might Be Something Here”
This news aligns with recent comments made by Femi himself regarding his interaction with Lesnar at the 2026 Royal Rumble. Speaking on No-Contest Wrestling, the powerhouse described their brief in-ring face-off as a calculated “teaser” designed to gauge audience interest.
“At the beginning stages of the face-off, me and Brock know that based on our reaction, we both have the understanding that, ‘Wait, there might be something here, there might be something here. Oh, they’re getting louder… we have something,’” Femi explained. He emphasized that the moment was a mutual mental agreement not to “blow our load” on a simple Rumble spot. “It’s a big money fight… There’s so much more that can happen there, so we’ll see down the line.”
Femi confirmed that the limited physicality was intentional. “I got to interact with him, but not too much on the wrestling, because it was always designed to be a teaser… Now we know we have something, like we really have something, I think going from here now, we’ll probably have more interaction down the line.”
