Karrion Kross and Scarlett Bordeaux are thriving outside the WWE bubble. The couple, who left the company in August 2025, recently opened up to TV Insider about their post-WWE careers and their current perspective on the wrestling business. Far from being bitter, Kross emphasized that they are in a great place mentally and professionally.
“We Are The Least Tribal People You’ll Ever Meet”
“How do I say this without sounding passive aggressive? I’ll tell you right now, we are the least tribal people you’ll ever meet. We’re not even salty about where things are at or where we are right now,” Kross stated. He described their mindset as “live and let live,” focusing on making the best of their current opportunities.
Kross highlighted the value of working on the independent circuit, noting that they are learning things about the entertainment industry that they “would not have been able to learn had we been inside the machine.” He pushed back against the narrative that leaving national television means disappearing. “If we’re not being shoved down their throats in their feed, maybe they think we’ve disappeared… [But] we’re in two or three major cities every weekend and thousands of people come to see us.”
The couple also noted that the fan support has been “overwhelming” and is actually growing rather than simmering down. In the same interview, they made it clear that they are “not desperate for a contract,” content to continue building their brand on their own terms.
