Gunther Will Name His Own Stipulation For The Cody Rhodes Rematch On Next SmackDown
WWE SmackDown go-home show tonight from Jacksonville features Rhea Ripley, Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss vs. Fatal Influence, Tiffany Stratton's first Women's US title defense, and more.
Gunther will reveal his stipulation for his Undisputed WWE Championship rematch against Cody Rhodes on next Friday’s SmackDown from Providence, Rhode Island, with Rhodes already naming June 19 in Kansas City as his preferred date for the match.
The announcement came after Gunther told SmackDown GM Nick Aldis he would file lawsuits until he received his rematch following the controversial Clash in Italy finish, where his leg was under the rope at the count of three.
Two King and Queen of the Ring first-round matches are also set for the show. On the King of the Ring side, Finn Balor, Jey Uso, LA Knight and Royce Keys meet in a Fatal 4-Way. The Queen of the Ring match features Sol Ruca, Lyra Valkyria, Charlotte Flair and Jade Cargill.
