Chad Gable has announced he will face Rusev on next Monday’s WWE Raw, posting on social media after coming to the aid of Penta and Rey Mysterio on this week’s show following a post-match attack from Ethan Page and Rusev.
Gable wrote: “The acceptance I’ve been given by EVERYONE upon dropping the mask and returning to Raw has been overwhelming and will be forever treasured by me. But if I don’t perform and live up to my own expectations, it’ll all be for nothing. This Monday, Rusev is the first stop on a very important path I’ve defined for myself. Now or never. Come along for the ride.”
Penta retained the Intercontinental Championship against Rey Mysterio in the main title match on Raw before the post-match attack set up the new confrontation.
