Drew McIntyre has been cast in The Last Druid alongside Russell Crowe, with the film already in production in Spain, per Deadline.
The movie, directed by William Eubank, follows a Druid discovered by a Roman Emperor who is forced to protect people under his reign, with Crowe playing a Celtic Elder who guides the central character. Crowe’s son Tennyson Crowe, Pablo Derqui and Stacy Clausen are also in the cast.
The Last Druid is McIntyre’s latest film role following his involvement in Amazon MGM’s Highlander reboot starring Henry Cavill. McIntyre has been away from WWE television since losing an Unsanctioned Match to Jacob Fatu at WrestleMania 42.
