AEW Dynamite faced steep competition on television during its most recent broadcast. This week’s episode of the flagship program averaged 633,000 viewers on TBS. This number represents an 8.5 percent drop from the previous week.
It marks the second lowest audience for the show since Nielsen adjusted its tracking metrics. Nielsen currently reports numbers using the integrated Big Data plus Panel method. The new methodology provides a different look at the television landscape.
Dynamite averaged a 0.10 rating in the key 18-49 demographic. That specific metric is down 16.7 percent from last week. It represents the lowest audience the show has done in that category since January 28.
The Wednesday night broadcast went head-to-head with major television events. Dynamite competed against the 50th season premiere of Survivor on CBS. The show also aired against the NBA on ESPN and the NHL on TNT.
Despite the stiff competition, the show managed to finish 15th on the prime time cable charts for the night. As compared to the exact same week in 2025, the overall viewership was actually up 5.9 percent. However, the 18-49 rating was down 44.4 percent year-over-year.
The tracking data includes the last 10 weeks of available overall viewership and 18-49 demographic ratings for AEW Dynamite on TBS. The numbers for the Christmas Eve episode are still not being reported. This week’s show was up 12.8 percent in overall viewers compared to recent nine-week averages, but remained even in the 18-49 demographic.
The television ratings come at a critical time for the promotion as they build toward their next major event. The company relies on strong viewership to drive pay-per-view buys and ticket sales. The roster is currently focused on finalizing their active storylines.
AEW is currently preparing for the Revolution pay-per-view event on March 15, 2026. The show will broadcast live from the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California. The event is expected to feature MJF defending the AEW World Championship against Hangman Page in a Texas Death Match.
