The “Queen” of the industry is officially looking toward her future beyond the squared circle. Charlotte Flair, who has been a mainstay of the Stamford-based promotion since 2012, recently spoke about her long-term goals. While she remains one of the top active stars on the roster, the 39-year-old veteran is focused on helping the next generation find their footing.
Speaking to Bloomberg Talks, Flair emphasized her desire to help people once her in-ring career eventually comes to a conclusion. She noted that she wants to become an “angel investor” to create safe spaces for people to pursue their dreams. This pivot toward self-care and mentorship reflects her growth as both an athlete and a businesswoman.
“I don’t know what my next step is after WWE, but what I do know is I want to help people,” Flair stated during the interview. “I want to become the person that I needed growing up… investing in self-care for everyone was like the perfect step in that and being their angel investor.”
Having successfully recovered from a major injury sustained last year, Flair returned to action at the 2025 Royal Rumble. She proceeded to win the match and face Tiffany Stratton at WrestleMania 41 in a physical encounter. Since then, she has transitioned into a highly successful tag team run alongside the returning Alexa Bliss.
Flair and Bliss recently secured a massive victory over Giulia and Kiana James on the most recent episode of Friday Night SmackDown. This win officially made them the number one contenders to the new Women’s Tag Team Champions, Nia Jax and Lash Legend. The “Twisted Queens” are now on a direct path to a title match as the road to WrestleMania 42 continues.
As the spring season approaches, Flair remains a focal point of the division. Her commitment to excellence in the ring is now matched by her ambition to contribute to the community outside of it. The WWE fans in Las Vegas are eager to see if she can secure another championship at Allegiant Stadium on April 18 and 19 before she eventually moves into her next chapter as a global mentor and investor.
