Jade Cargill already has her next target picked out. The WWE Women’s Champion appeared on the Complex Graps podcast and made clear that if Charlotte Flair isn’t going to be at WrestleMania 42, she wants her at SummerSlam instead.
“The person I want to see at SummerSlam, since I’m not seeing them at ‘Mania, is Charlotte Flair. It’s already there,” Cargill said. She explained the appeal of the matchup in direct terms: “It’s about breaking her. She’s stoic; I am stoic. And I know Charlotte is known for pulling people up and making them better — that’s the people I want to work with.”
Cargill First Has WrestleMania 42 to Navigate Against Rhea Ripley
Charlotte Flair has not been booked for a singles or tag team match at WrestleMania 42, leaving her status for the event unclear. Cargill, meanwhile, is focused on defending the Women’s Championship against Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas before any SummerSlam plans can take shape. But the callout plants a flag — and given both women’s standing in the company, a Cargill vs. Flair showdown is exactly the kind of match that could anchor a major summer premium live event.
