The world of gaming and professional wrestling is officially colliding once again. According to a new report from the well-known leaker HYPEX, WWE stars Liv Morgan and “Stone Cold” Steve Austin are reportedly set to join Fortnite as playable characters. The collaboration arrives just in time for the peak of the WrestleMania 42 season, bringing one of the industry’s top modern heels and its most iconic legend to the Battle Bus.
The news follows a accidental background art leak from Epic Games, which reportedly included the names of both superstars in the API for the March 19 Item Shop reset. Morgan and Austin will join a star-studded lineup of previous Fortnite x WWE collaborations, which already includes Cody Rhodes, John Cena, Becky Lynch, Bianca Belair, and The Undertaker.
Fans are also expecting the return of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson to the game’s lore. While The Rock is already a part of the Fortnite universe as the mysterious character “The Foundation,” rumors suggest his classic WWE persona may also be featured soon. This aligns with the game’s “Rivals Season” theme, potentially pairing him with his career-long rival, Steve Austin.
The Fortnite 2026 calendar has been a massive year for crossovers, already featuring collaborations with *The Office*, *Ed Edd n Eddy*, and *Looney Tunes*. A *Game of Thrones* crossover is also rumored to be on the horizon for the summer months. For the WWE fans, the addition of Morgan is particularly topical as she prepares for her high-stakes match against Stephanie Vaquer in Las Vegas this April.
