Ricky Morton is heading to the WWE Performance Center. The Hall of Famer confirmed a report from Dave Meltzer’s daily update by posting on social media that he will be spending the week in Orlando to teach and train with upcoming WWE talent.
“Orlando, Florida for the week! Fortunate to be able to teach, train, & give back. Catch ya soon, PC,” Morton wrote, expressing genuine excitement about the opportunity.
Morton Brings Decades of Tag Team Experience to WWE’s Development Program
Morton, 69, is best known for his celebrated run alongside Robert Gibson as The Rock ‘n’ Roll Express — one of the most influential tag teams in professional wrestling history. He and Gibson were inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2017 in recognition of their enormous contributions to the industry. Beyond WWE, the duo has also made appearances in NJPW and AEW over the years. Morton’s visit to the Performance Center offers the current crop of developing talent a rare chance to learn from one of the sport’s true living legends.
