Brock Lesnar came to Boston to send a message to Oba Femi — and ended up on the floor instead. The March 23 Raw at TD Garden featured another major escalation in the WrestleMania 42 matchup between The Beast Incarnate and the rising powerhouse, with Femi once again getting the better of the exchange.
Lesnar and Paul Heyman opened the show together, with the TD Garden crowd immediately pelting Lesnar with “Oba Femi” chants. Heyman fired back on his client’s behalf, laying out the context from last week — that Lesnar had already dispatched twenty masked men and was distracted by Seth Rollins before Femi appeared. He ran through a list of challengers who failed to conquer Lesnar, including Dean Ambrose and Bobby Lashley, insisting Oba Femi would be next on that list.

The lights cut off mid-promo, and Femi made his entrance. The two stood face-to-face in the ring until Lesnar attempted an F5 — only for Femi to clothesline him clean over the top rope to the floor. Paul Heyman immediately went to work convincing Lesnar to exit rather than escalate further, pulling him away from ringside.
The visual of Lesnar on the floor while Femi stood tall in the ring reinforced what the betting odds have already suggested — WWE appears to be building Femi as the man to dethrone The Beast at WrestleMania 42.
