Charlotte Flair has made her WrestleMania 42 intentions clear — if she’s on the card, she wants Alexa Bliss standing next to her. Speaking with Complex, Flair opened up about her desire to pursue the Women’s Tag Team Championships at WrestleMania alongside her partner, calling it a goal both women are actively pushing for.
“We don’t have a clear path to WrestleMania right now, but I know how Lexi feels, I know how I feel — we’re going to do everything we can in our power to get on WrestleMania and fight for those tag team championships if there is an opportunity,” Flair said.
Flair Points to a Year of Shared History as the Reason She Wants Bliss
The emotional core of Flair’s comments was her reflection on what she and Bliss have built together. “After the year I’ve had with Lexi — going from winning at SummerSlam, to WarGames, to the Royal Rumble where I was entrant number one and she was entrant number two and I chose to fight by her side — she is who I want beside me.” Flair also noted the personal milestone at stake. “If I’m on the card this year, that would be my ninth WrestleMania.” Reports from Bodyslam already point toward a fatal four-way Women’s Tag Title match at the event, suggesting Flair and Bliss may get exactly what they’re pushing for.
