Liv Morgan has made it clear that nothing is keeping her away from Stephanie McMahon’s WWE Hall of Fame induction during WrestleMania 42 week in Las Vegas. Speaking to 8 News Now, Morgan was asked about the Hall of Fame ceremony and whether she would be attending — and her response was immediate and enthusiastic.
“I’m going to be attending, for sure. There’s no way I’m going to miss Stephanie McMahon being inducted into the Hall of Fame. She is such an icon. I am so happy for her. I respect her so much, and so I wasn’t going to miss her induction for the world,” Morgan said.
Stephanie McMahon Was the First Inductee Announced for the 2026 WWE Hall of Fame Class
Stephanie McMahon holds the distinction of being the first name announced for the 2026 WWE Hall of Fame class, which also includes AJ Styles, Demolition, Dennis Rodman, and the posthumous Legacy Class induction of Sid Eudy, as well as the Immortal Moment Award going to Hulk Hogan vs. Andre the Giant from WrestleMania 3. The ceremony takes place Friday, April 17 at Dolby Live at Park MGM in Las Vegas as part of WrestleMania 42 weekend, the day after SmackDown.
Morgan’s admiration for McMahon reflects a sentiment shared broadly among WWE’s women’s roster. Stephanie’s role in elevating the women’s division — including her part in the Divas Revolution of 2015 — has been credited as foundational by many of the current generation of performers. With Morgan set to challenge Stephanie Vaquer for the Women’s World Championship just one day after the Hall of Fame ceremony at WrestleMania 42, it shapes up as an emotionally loaded weekend for one of WWE‘s most prominent current stars.
