The Undertaker has spoken movingly about the legacy of Bray Wyatt — and his assessment of the late performer’s potential makes his 2023 passing at the age of 36 feel all the more significant. Speaking on Nightcap, The Undertaker identified Wyatt as one of the rare performers who possessed the same kind of otherworldly character presence that defined his own legendary career.
“Bray Wyatt was coming along before his unfortunate demise. He had that aura, that otherworldly type character. Obviously, it’s a shame what happened with Bray because I think he had only begun to scratch the surface of how great he was gonna be,” The Undertaker said. One of Wyatt’s final WWE appearances came on a January 2023 episode of Raw, where he and The Undertaker united to take down LA Knight — a rare on-screen meeting of two of professional wrestling’s most unique and compelling larger-than-life characters.
