Charlotte Flair has responded to her three-on-one loss to Jacy Jayne on the May 1 episode of WWE SmackDown with the kind of gracious acknowledgment that only a 14-time champion can pull off — while making absolutely clear that revenge is already on her mind. Fatal Influence made their SmackDown debuts on April 24 and immediately got to work, with Jayne picking up the win over Flair thanks to interference from Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid.
Speaking on ESPN SportsCenter, Flair addressed the loss and offered genuine praise for the newcomers. “Here’s the thing, nobody likes to lose, even if it’s three-on-one. However, I am the fourteen-time Women’s Champion, that means I’ve lost thirteen times, but I’ve always come back better and stronger. Ultimately, I see a bright future for Jacy Jayne, Lainey Reid and Fallon. They made a big impact. I know it’s hard to come up, but people are talking, and I’m looking forward to seeing what they do, even though they beat me, but revenge is in my future,” Flair said.
Charlotte Flair vs Fatal Influence Feud Takes Shape After Rhea Ripley Interrupts Post-Match Attack
A post-match attack on Flair by Fatal Influence was interrupted by Rhea Ripley, likely signaling the direction the feud will take heading into the summer. Henley and Reid have yet to compete individually on WWE SmackDown since their debut, meaning the full scope of what Fatal Influence can do on the blue brand is still being established.
