Liv Morgan has spoken glowingly about Roxanne Perez’s development inside The Judgment Day — and the WWE Women’s World Champion made clear she sees herself as directly responsible for shaping what comes next for one of the company’s most exciting young performers. Speaking to Fox News in a recent interview, Morgan described her relationship with Perez in terms that positioned herself as both mentor and architect of the next era.
“I think Roxanne is so incredibly talented. She’s so young and is so aware in the ring. She really knows what she’s doing. For us, the Judgment Day, to take our little Roxy under our wing and set her up as the next great for the next generation,” Morgan said. She then elaborated on the specific nature of the mentorship. “She’s definitely under my tutelage. I’m teaching her a lot. I’m teaching her everything that I know. The future of WWE is more than safe in my little Roxy’s hands.”
Roxanne Perez Has Become a Key Judgment Day Member Since Her Main Roster Debut Last Year
Perez made her WWE main roster debut last year and quickly found her place within The Judgment Day alongside Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez, and Dominik Mysterio. She returned to action in March, playing a significant role in Morgan’s feud with Stephanie Vaquer — including the backstage attack that left Vaquer with a second-degree AC sprain on the April 27 Raw. Morgan’s framing of Perez as the next great of her generation is both a character statement and what appears to be a genuine belief in the 24-year-old’s long-term ceiling within WWE.
